Mindfulness
This is one of my favorite places on our summer island. I don’t know why, but water has a calming impact on me. In Germany where I live, I usually go and sit by the small ponds on a sunny day since there is no ocean. That’s okay too.
In our daily life, which is often full of stress, we need to look for calmness, harmony, and mindfulness.
Mindfulness is to be in the moment without judging or valuing. I try to keep my thoughts far away and give my brain a break. It is not easy, but it is worth the training that I do every day.
